Part folk art, part steam punk the whimsical paintings of E.H. Karp explore travel and adventure through images of bicycles. With a childlike curiosity her bikes are fitted with rockets, wings and luggage; for long journeys. Ice cream pedals come standard with every make and model.
At the age of 10 when E. H. Karp finished her first 20 foot drawing of Orbit City, from the Jetsons, she knew that she would be an artist. Years later, she completed a BFA in Graphic Design from Moore College in Philadelphia going on to work with such notable companies as Urban Outfitters, creating the first Anthropologie logo.
An accomplished designer and a nomad at heart she floated around till she landed in Atlanta, GA at the request of her husband. Currently, Elizabeth has a successful painting career and is exploring the Emerging Art Writers Mentorship Program.
